Bauhaus Design Movement

The Bauhaus design movement, is a style that consists of various geometrical shapes, usually revolving around rectangles and circles, as well as using primary colours, red, yellow, blue, and shaders such as black and white as its most prominent colours.

When did it begin?

The Bauhaus design movement began on the 12th of April, 1919 in Weimar Germany. The design movement originally being introduced by architect Walter Gropius (1883–1969).

Why is it so popular?

The popularity of the Bauhaus design movement stems from its purposeful designs while still being simple and eye-catching. Revolving around beautiful yet basic designs for everyday objects.

What's it's purpose?

The purpose of Bauhaus is to merge all artistic mediums into one collective idea, combining an individual's artistry and other design movements with mass production, eifficiency and function
